Wow... that's sad. There's only 5 topics in this section... and they were from 2008.

Though I think that's more of the 'everyone chats, no one posts' problem of cetafurs... but it still contributes to what I'm about to say.

For the past couple of years, I fell prey to a fallow period. Inspiration didn't come, and my interest in cetaceans faded.

This is part of why I wanted to make a site. So I could become inspired again by reading the experiences of other cetacean fanatics. Mick had the idea to create a site for cetacean furries, and I thought it was a great idea. That gave birth to Cetafurs... but... don't get me wrong, Cetafurs is a great site and community... there's just... something missing. Mainly... activity in this section...

And my recent 're-enlightenment' with cetaceans made me ask this question:

I know most of the people who join this site are furries and cetacean fanatics... but... which are you first?

Are you a furry first? Or a cetacean fanatic first?

Also, this topic is titled 'confessions of cetafurs...' so... if you feel that you must say something, please do.

I absolutely love cetaceans, yes.

The furry community itself has been an interesting and eye opening experience ... not all good, but most of it.

In the end though, even if my fade in furry diminishes, I'm still strictly a cetacean fanatic. Maybe furry has re-enforced that, but in the end, cetaceans are still on my mind.

I started out as a ceta-fan, and only through that did I find the furry fandom. For a couple years early this past decade I was a trainer too. But I'm finding as of late I don't really care so much about the cetacean-fandom, the whole marine park and conservation stuff. I just like being a furry, and I quite enjoy fursuiting. My newest suit is a kangaroo though :3 .. One day I'll have my landorca suit.

Definitely a ceta-fan. Turned to the fandom long ago from link and friends but realised, despite the interest it brings, that I better stay distant from it. I do take what's good out of it but I am not so much involved in it as I used to be. Unlike the cetacean part.

I was a cetacean fanatic long before I found the furry fandom. I still am mainly interested in the cetacean aspect. I think if the furry subculture were to suddenly vanish, the cetacean aspect would still be around. The sad thing about furries is that a good bit of them are only interested in the porn.
